Vedadrama: Our Philosophy & Approach
At Vedadrama, we offer internationally certified training in Humanistic Psychodrama—an experiential method that blends psychology, theatre, and spirituality. Designed for executives, counselors, coaches, and educators, our programs support personal growth, professional development, and leadership transformation.
Established in 2012 and supported by PIB Germany (Psychotherapeutic Institute Bergerhausen), Vedadrama brings a unique Indian perspective to psychodrama, integrating the richness of Vedic wisdom, cultural storytelling, and spiritual insight.
Why Vedadrama is Different
We combine Indian and Buddhist traditions with the core techniques of psychodrama and sociometry to create a deeply rooted, culturally resonant method for self-exploration and group work.
- Experience-based learning that enhances self-awareness, leadership, and emotional intelligence
- Creative action methods to access inner strength and resolve conflict through enactment
- Spiritual grounding inspired by concepts like Maya and Sanatana Dharma, aligning personal insight with social harmony
- Surplus reality techniques to explore possibilities beyond everyday limitations
- Tele-based connection to build empathy, intuition, and authentic relationships
Our Story
Vedadrama was founded by Prof. Dr. Jochen Becker-Ebel, who lived in India for over six years near the temple town of Tiruvannamalai. Merging deep Indian spiritual knowledge with western psychodrama methods, he developed an enculturated way of teaching and practicing psychodrama in India and now in Vietnam.
Vedadrama India is a member of IAGP (International Association for Group Psychotherapy) and ISPS, with all certifications internationally recognized by PIB, Germany.
“We believe psychodrama can enrich India and Vietnam, just as Indian wisdom can enrich the world.”
